The Pasco Economic Development Council (PEDC) was created in 1987 to foster the economic vitality and business development opportunities of Pasco County, Florida.  The PEDC is committed to positive growth to make Pasco County a great place to live and work. You won't find a more supportive county in which to do business.

Mission Statement:  The Pasco Economic Development Council will lead Pasco County in the creation of a sustainable and diversified economy.

STAFF 

President/CEO Mary Jane Stanley, CEcD Mary Jane oversees all aspects of the PEDC's programs and operations. She recently served as Chairman for the Florida Economic Development Council (FEDC). Named as a finalist for the Tampa Bay Business Journal's 2005 Business Woman of the Year.  In 2006, she received the Outstanding Public Servant Award from the West Pasco Chamber.

Vice President John Walsh, CEcD John is responsible for new business development and recruitment and all facets of project location from site tours to obtaining financial, permitting and regulatory assistance.  He heads our marketing efforts with the Tampa Bay Partnership and Florida High-Tech Council. In 2005, he was recognized by the Tech Prep Pasco Hernando Consortium for his participation with Classrooms to Careers. John is a graduate of Leadership Tampa Bay 2006 and Leadership Pasco.

Business Assistance Coordinator Casey Dearolf   Casey is responsible for assisting new and existing businesses with identifying training needs and with accessing the appropriate funding sources. She has a strong background in customer service, human resources, and special events.  Casey is a graduate of the USF with a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal and Organizational Skills in Communictions.

Existing Industry Manager Denise Sanderson Denise is responsible for managing the existing business retention and expansion program, the annual existing industry survey, the Pasco Manufacturers Council, business incentive contract follow-up, liaison to the Florida Manufacturers Council, research, existing industry visits and the like.

Office Manager Suzanne Renczkowski   Suzanne is responsible for all aspects of managing the daily office functions. She is a graduate of Basic Economic Development Course. She has been a member of the PEDC team for 14 years.
